Hi all just thought I would share this information with you which I found on the ukba website. Its called settlement checking service and means ukba and 12 local authorites in the uk are piloting this service where the local authorites will check all your application make sure its all in order and post it to ukba for a fee of £62. I've been trying to get the link on my post but I don't know how to do it. So if someone could post it in a reply then that would be good. This seems a good service for people who may be unsure with their application. Hope this post helps someone and I'm not sure if someone has posted this before. Cheers

Settlement checking service.

Note this is a pilot scheme currently only for applications using form SET(M), i.e. ILR as a spouse or partner.

To post a link click on the link.png icon above the reply box and then copy and paste the address and title of the link into the relevant boxes. Make sure http:// doesn't appear twice in the address box; it is pre-entered in the box so usually if copying and pasting an address you will need to delete it from the box first.
