Cable Tv With A Dual Language Tv

Featured Replies

Just wondering about my cable. It's from a company called WCTV and I pay 300 a month. Quite a few channels in English, news etc and a couple of movie channels in English .English premiership in Vietnamese etc. There are a lot of movie channels in Thai as well with some good films on them and I was wondering , if I got a dual language TV would I be able to get them in English the same way that you can on normal Thai TV ? Probably not but just thought I would ask.

How about we move this over to the internet, computers, communication, technology forum? :)

I do not think you can, Because the language of the program is determined by the broadcasting company, NOT the TV itself.

A dual language tv would not do any good. What they have done is bought a box or converter for each channel they offer then they route all of the boxes to each apt. the only way to change the language is to change the setting on the converter/box. I have seen some apts that will sell you a "wizard" box which will allow you to change the language, but that would be illegal so I wouldn't reccomend it.
