Iphone 4 In Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

1) Iphone 4 - where to buy and how much?

2) Does it matter if I buy it here or in Europe? (warranty and features)

3) What's the best operator (prepaid) for 3g functions - what package do you recommend?

4) Are phones here SIM unlocked?

I purchased an unlocked Iphone 4 from Chiang Mai. I never had a problem with it and use any sim, it was 26000 for 32g version, but then you have to pay the 7% tax.

any provider will sell pay as you go if you want that and they will give you a mini sim for the ip 4

Any apple shop will sell them unlocked, I went to a lot of providers and they didnt have the 32g in stock at the time, So Apple sold me one for the same price and DTAC gave me a mini sim with my same number, or they can cut them to fit.

hope this helps

I got mine from the iBeat store in central. 32gb with all the tax etc. was 28k

I tried DTAC at first who only seemed to have edge so I tried out AIS for a provider as I wanted proper 3G.

Been using AIS since December now and there 3G is awesome. 350baht a month for 1.5gig allowance. I might downgrade to the 150baht package as I only seem to use 350-400 mb a month!

As for features this depends on where your credit card is registered in iTunes.

For example if you are from the UK and register a UK card with iTunes, you will be taken to the UK itunes store.

The phone comes fully unlocked and ready to go. You might need a new sim card as they now use the micro sim cards.
