Tiolet In Condo- Not Going Down

Featured Replies

I have tried a metal snake about 3-4 feet long. I have also tried some drain openers at Carrefour. Still, not working. When you flush, the water fills the bowl but doesn't go down. This is in a rental condo so I am not sure what the previous customer might have done. Any suggestions ????

You must be quite anxious as this is the 2nd post same subject. :o

Anyway... get a plunger. That's the toilet thing that has been around for 100 years that has a rubber flange at the bottom of the stick, yah? Just put that puppy in the hole and give it a few good thrusts. If it doesn't drain in the first few tries, give it the push/suck for a few. Unless there's something REALLY clogging your drain, that will do it.

You probably need to get the building tech to open up and check out the drainage pipe from the condo unit below yours.
