eljeque
I have been to Laos or Cambodia for the past couple of years, but am looking at going to Penang or Singapore in late March, both places I have been to many times, but not lately, so would like to find out how the embassies are concerning double entry tourist visas. How many days will it take, etc. Thanks
lopburi3
Don't believe either location will be likely to provide without solid proof of being temporary tourist (and often not then). Both places normally operate on the apply morning and pick up next workday afternoon.
PoorSucker
No double entry visas in Penang or Singapore. Penang will deny you single entry if you have extended previous visas at immigrations in Thailand.
dananderson
I got 2 tv's in Sing last year. As I was there for another job interview I attempted to get my 3rd and was told my application would not be processed w/o proof of forward travel after she counted my previous visa's. I politely countered that my travel plans were contingent on future employment, to no avail. Ridiculous considering 2 single tv's is less than one triple entry I returned via visa exempt and went to PP a month later.
eljeque
Thanks for all of your help... I guess it is back to Phnom Penh after all.
Atmos
I came back from Penang last week, 17th Feb. Single-entry Tourist Visa was same day through an agent he charged 30r/300 baht - thought it was worth it as freed me up for sightseeing. Singapore a year ago was next-day for passport collection.
