grin
Anyone know of any parts supply shops in Chiang Mai other than the usual large places like Global House, Home Pro, Home Mart, Home Mall, etc? I currently need a source of parts for Kohler plumbing fixtures, random kitchen appliances, Black and Decker power tools, and a Makita electric lawn mower. Alternatively how about a repair shop where I could take a kitchen appliance, power tool or an electric lawn mower? Also I am looking for electronic parts that Amorn does not carry. drfang
Manee Noparat Rd, outer road of moat , heading east past the Chang Puek Gate has a string of small shops that may have what you require, one of them is a small appliance repair place, they carry makita spares etc. Kohler parts may be a bit of a struggle. grin
Thanks, I will look for the repair shop on Manee Noparat Rd. As for electronics I occasionally experiment with microcontroller circuits. I like to browse shops just to see what is available as it sometimes gives me ideas for something to build. Currently I am looking for LDR's (photoresistors) to build a reflector type smoke sensor.
Jdietz
For microcontroller and other electronic stuff, you can browse and order from http://www.es.co.th they'll send it to you from Bangkok at low shipping cost. Edit: and you can pay them through a regular ATM bank transfer. Edited February 28, 2011 by Jdietz
