DMC1
Anybody have any inside info on the showing of True Grit in Pattaya ? It only appears to be showing in BKK at the moment and I really fancy seeing this on the big screen.

RedQualia
Never was a John Wayne fan so i never saw the original but i enjoyed this one so maybe i should seek out the original to view on DVD and decide for myself. The original movie was simply a John Wayne vehicle. Some folks like him, I suppose, but IMO, if you've seen one John Wayne movie, you've seen them all. But worse was that the Wayne movie failed to capture the feeling and mood of the original book. I was disappointed to see the version with Wayne when it was released, and much more so with the movie itself. The remake follows the book much more closely, and in that way, was much more enjoyable that the Wayne version. Well, in every way, IMO...
