Sony Playstation 3

Featured Replies

Hi all

I just bought a 160 GB Sony PlayStation 3 (Jailbreak) from MBK for a price of 10000 Baht , The shop that sold me the PS3 said that there is no way to play Online either with the Original or Back up games. I have both original and backup games given to me by a friend .

Anyone experience or have tried play the PS3 Jailbreak here in Thailand. If you can how do you do it ? Please do PM me or post here. Really need to play online :(

Games im currently playing

FIFA 11

Winning 11 (2010)

EA MMA

EA Fight Night (Champion)

Thanks

MOTR

Also have a PS3 with Jailbreak, they told told me that if you connect it to the internet it will update the firmware automaticlly, therefore potenially making the Jailbreak worthless.

As for playing the back up games, I have not problems playing them.

Is it Jailbreak USB dongle device or Custom Firmware (CFW)?

Visit ps3crunch.com for more info about PS3 and CFW

We bought it from Square Soft Games /6th floor its a famous shop usually lots of people buying from them , with 1 year parts and service warranty by their shop

I really do not see the point in a jailbroken ps3. You will end up with a door stop mark my words especially if you try and play on line. Yours sounds like it went through the Failoverflow Hack..... If that is the case... You go on line and you will get screwed.

Getting a jailbroken ps3 is the best way to throw away 10000 baht in my opinion. You should have just got it as normal... Can't condone gaming pirates at all, you'll end up not just screwing yourself, but others that have no intention of piracy.

also, if you use the ps3 as a media centre which a lot of people do, you can't connect it to your network as you will be put on line... you will only be able to play films through a usb....

Next time call me and I'll take the money from you

Hi if possible i would like to get a PS3 non jailbreak but there are no other option during the time when i wanted a PS3 so who to blame ? the shop ? the country ? the IT Ministry ? me ? well sometimes there's simply not much option. 10k is nothing to most of us but what option do we have ?
