March 4, 201115 yr I'm currently on a single entry type B Non-Immigrant visa. My visa expires at the end of the month, atwhich time I'm planning on leaving Thailand to get a new visa. Something came up, and I'd like to stay fewmore days passed the expiration date. Isit possible to get a simple 5 or 10 day extension like you can on a touristvisa. I am aware about the one year extension, but it involves a lot more paper work and I'm not interest in that at thistime. I know I could overstay for a fewdays and pay a fine, but my reasons for staying are not as important and thepossible hassle from immigration officers in the future because of an over stayin my passport. So over stay is not anoption. So is a simple short extension an option for me? Thanks.
March 4, 201115 yr Author If you can show an onward ticket you may get a 7 day extension for 1900 baht. So if I try this, I should be a flexible ticket in case theydenied my request.
March 6, 201115 yr Do not recall any report of it being denied if you can show travel within that 7 day period.
