One Way Ticket

Featured Replies

Hi Forum

A couple of quick questions,My wife has dual nationality.Thai passport in her maiden name,uk passport married name.

1) Can she buy a one way ticket, and if so which name do i book the ticket.

2) We are staying in thai for 18 months will this cause a problem when she returns to the uk.

Thanks for any replies

banpunket.

Provided she uses her Thai passport to enter Thailand she will not need a return ticket and can, of course, stay in the Kingdom as long as she likes.

I would use the name on her Thai passport to buy the ticket.

It will make things simpler for the future if, while in Thailand, she changes her Thai passport so both are in the same name.

A quick trip to Bangkok with your Marriage Certificate and she will have a new passport in her married name in about a week for just 1,000 Baht.

It makes things so much easier.
