Help With Mms Settings: True 3G

Featured Replies

I have an Android 2.2.1 smartphone and True 3G. I am unable to send or receive MMSes. Is anyone able to set this up to send MMSes?

Do I need to create a second APN? Or just modify the existing True 3G APN (MMSC, MMS proxy, MMS port)? Any ideas on the actual settings for those?

There is some info. scattered about but it is conflicting in some cases, I tried the following without success:

Profile name. True GPRS MMS (or other meaningful name).

Server URL. http://mms.trueworld.net:8002/.

Proxy. Enable.

IP Address. 10.4.7.39.

Port. 8080.

APN. mms.

Login. true.

Password. true.

I did try this website, http://www.mywds.com/worp/ota/orangeta/phonefirst where you choose your phone model, mine's not there but I chose a similar one, then they send you configuration SMSes which istalls APN information automatically. Those don't seem to be working either.
