What'S Wrong With California Wow?

Hey Guys,

I am Really Confused of California Wow rite now. Today I just made a call (found the number from their website] and Asked them About Their prices for month and the First thing they asked was my name and my number which i gave them, then The sales man on the phone Said he he would like me to visit them today, i told him i was busy and maybe would Go and have a look next week, he said ok and i disconnected the phone. Now The sales man just keep kept calling me And giving me different kinds of offers, he called me about 4 or 5 times today And kept reducing the prices. so the final call he said i would like to offer you special promotion i said what? and he said if you join today i will Give a friend of yours Free membership for 2 months. so after getting frustrated by their calls i finally agreed and said i will have a look probably today. then i called my mate to have a look with me. As we were going in the person standing on front asked both of ours age, we both are 17 and i told them. they said to wait and have a seat.

A sales man arrived to us and gave us many offers we were discussing About it. i asked for a free trial and he said no I am Sorry you are underage... i then asked him i might have a try in fitness first and then he kept telling fitness first are all small and they cant compare with us. then he said ok special offer, 2000 baht for 2 months for both of us now that sounds interesting but still i wouldn't accept the offer unless i get a trial he kept saying california wow don't give trials to under 18. then i understood this is pure marketing. Then he told me he will come back and till then we decide, another customer arrived and he sat with him next to me and i could hear the conversation And He was ripping him off he told him 3210 for a contract of year

We were Like <deleted>????? different pricing for everyone. then he came to us and we clearly told him we are not interested and are gonna go join fitness first, he smiled and said Fitness first is based on marketing. i smiled and told him Yeah and aren't you one too? he smiled and i told him if you let us try first we will join your membership he said the same underage problem.

Then i said you sure other california wow Don't offer free trials to underages. he said i can guarantee that. my mate Then Ranged to california wow other branch And we asked for the trial and for our age they said it doesn't matter we can get free trial for 7 days. the guys face was full of embarrassment and he asked me the person on the phones name and called them personally i couldnt understand what they were talking but i can assure you they were arguing. this guy got pissed and complained to the other branch manager.

I really don't understand what's up with them

anyway one of my friend had life time membership and paid 18000 for it and they canceled the membership in 3 years

did anyone experience simple problem?

im just really disappointed with them

As soon as he came out with the 'underage' crap I'd have said that's fine, maybe I'll come back when I'm 18 and I'd have walked out never to have returned.

i don't understand what's the problem? if i can have membership under 18 why cant i have free trial for a week

Liability issues I would assume. They are insured (for members). Adults have completely different liability issues than teens.

I won't purchase from CaliWoW just because of their sales practices. (No real set pricing ... higher commission paid for higher prices paid etc!)

Liability Issue? i would Assume one too but you See other branches dont seem to have any problem With providing me with a trial period..

Also i asked For a life time membership and he said that was possible if he had time machine but california stopped this offer since last year. i believed it until the other sales man was offering life time membership to the other customer next to me?

i thought they were pretty much purely based on marketing but not it comes out they are more then that

One more thing. california wow Canceled one of my friends life time membership in 3 years he paid all the yearly renewal fees but still they have done that anyone experienced similar problem??
