This might be old news, and apologies if so, but it looks like the Pattaya One sub-forum has disappeared? What happened, did they just decide to end the partnership?

The agreement (contract) expired and for whatever reason it was decided not to renew it.

The first issue was posted in October, so the contract was only for 5 months?

Well nearly, it was a 6 month contract.

i think it was a load of rubbish anyone

didn't notice it was gone

there was an entertaining read from time to time

Didn't noticed it was gone. Shows you how interested I was in it. What a load of rubbish! Hardly factual.

Well nearly, it was a 6 month contract.

So it didn't expire then - it was cut short a month early.

Not too surprising though, many of the articles - entertaining though they often were - would never have been allowed if they were posted by "normal" members. Frequent mentions of another rival Thai forum probably didn't help their cause either.

Their new format on their radio station is annoying, some wannabe DJ's including Mr Diamond, it was bad enough that you used to hear every commercial with Sir Howies voice, but it has certainly taken a step further back.

Pattaya One is still going strong and many thanks to Thai Visa for their kickstart which has helped us a lot. As with every business, you grow and move on. The newspaper is still available for free download at www.pattayaone.net and a new website featuring the content of the newspaper and previous issues will be online soon.

Thank you for the link. I always have a good time when reading this - but a sense of humor, sometimes missing in some posters here, is necessary.
