Cheapest/Easiest/Closest Place To Get A 1 Year Multiple Non O

Featured Replies

Is Singapore still the best option for a 1 Year Multiple Non O? A few years ago when I went for one, 400,000baht in a bank was required but it could be in an account from my home country. Just wondering where is the best place to go right now and what paperwork is required?

Thanks :)

Kl requires 100,000 in the bank based on marriage.

If you are married to a Thai and have 400,000 in the bank in Thailand you can apply for a 1 year extension of stay at immigration.

I yr Multi "O" based on what ? if you state the reason / criteria you may get more informative / helpful advice.:whistling:

Kl requires 100,000 in the bank based on marriage.

Does the money have to be in Thailand or can a print out from a Canadian bank suffice?

For KL it can be in any bank in any country and a printed online statement should be enough.

Normally only when you apply for an extension of stay from immirgation in Thailand does the money need to be in Thailand.

That's useful to know.

Saves any unnecessary transfers to a Thai bank which I thought the money had to be in.
