Normally there would be not much of a problem, but if you have to fill in any forms about what you're carrying just fill you have food with you. If you're worried go through Red and declare it, the worst that can happen is they'll take it off you. You should see what I take from UK to Thailand. Best advice - take plenty of Mama noodles - your G/F will need her fix and a box of those will keep her going. Where are you going in the UK ?
