Remote Uk Banking

Featured Replies

Any UK banks allow remote banking, specifically international transfers to Thailand, i know Halifax are the cheapest but can you instruct on line, most banks insist on a paper form being submitted.

Thanks in advance.

You can submit online with Halifax. GBP 9.50 per SWIFT transfer.

Easy.

None of my banks require a paper form to be submitted although with a couple of them I can send a fax.

If you have a Bangkok Bank account, move the money in the UK online into Bangkok Bank London , then on to Thailand, quick easy and efficient.

I don't have a Thai bank account yet, but i'm contemplating a long trip to Thailand so would most likely take enough cash for a few weeks. Then open up a Thai bank account then transfer what i need. I seem to remember kasikorn are good and have on line banking, any recommendations for the Thai account.

I transfer money from my Natwest Uk bank to my Thai Kasikorn bank on a monthly basis without any problem.

I use internet banking for my Natwest bank and during working days i will receive the funds within the same in my Kasikorn account.

In this way you have a much better exchange rate ( interbanking rate ) as compaired to the ATM rate. ( consumer rate )
