March 22, 201115 yr I have a single entry nonB from Germany, a work permit and a tax number. I would now need a one year nonB preferably one where I do not need to leave the country all 6 month. Could someone please explain what I need to do. Thanks
March 22, 201115 yr Apply for a one year "Extension of Stay"(not a visa) if the company you work for qualifies, or apply for a one year multiple entry Non-Immigrant "B" at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Edited March 22, 201115 yr by beechguy
March 22, 201115 yr Author Apply for a one year "Extension of Stay" if the company you work for qualifies, or apply for a one year multiple entry Non-Immigrant "B" at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I did contacedt Malaysia, Germany and Singapore all the answers stated the same."we will only grant a single entry visa at our Thai embassy in Singapore/Germany." In fact Singapore told me to " Kindly take note if you are working in Thailand and holder of the workpermit in Thailand kindly contact our Immigration dept to request for your re-entry to be issued while you are in Thailand."
March 23, 201115 yr As said, apply for a 1 year extension of stay at the immigraiton office with all required documents from the company (if the compny qualifies, regarding registered capital, ratio Thai-foreign workers and can show tax dddocuments over the last 2 years). If not, all you can hope for is a multiple non-B in either KL or Penang, if the company can show enough registered capital (Penang) or if you have at least 8 months left on your WP in KL. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/433392-current-visa-availability-summary-from-neighboring-countries/ If you want to stay longer than 90 days without leaving the country you will need an extension of stay from immigration.
