Tortilla Chips/Salsa

Featured Replies

Hi if you are into corn tortilla chips with your salsa cruda/pico de gallo to compliment that Corona gap manau as the heat of the day subsides I just discovered El Sabor Nacho Chips at Rimping. Far superior to the thin Danitas, many of which were inedibly crumbled. Of the various bottled salsas there I have come to like Chichis, being a bit less liquid than others. Easy to make your own though...

I'm afraid that I just substitute Doritos. I have never tasted any locally made corn chips that were better than just about bearable and most are not even close. :(

Saaaay, I didn't know where they were made so I just looked and it's...Greece!

Nothing too subtle about whatever they coat Doritos with so not really suitable for salsa IMO...

I would prefer to make my own salsa, it doesn't keep as long, but taste much better. :D. Wish I can find some Habaneros to roast... make a mean salsa, smokey and spicey and totally delich :partytime2:

Some people are growing them and I've seen habaneros at Rim Ping. Haven't tried them in a salsa cruda but it sounds interesting.

I think the habaneros will burn your mouth off :bah:

Nice chart. Actually I'm afraid it was the jalapenos I saw at Rim Ping not habaneros.
