You will need to be aware that not all the test centres offer the A1 test, but require the sitting of two tests. The Embassy will accept an A1 pass in a more difficult test.

I understand for the ETS TOEIC test, an A1 pass requires a score of 60 for Listening and 50 for Speaking.

My wife done the UKBA approved EET (Elementry English Test) with Language Solutions Ltd They do the test once a month (at the end of the month) in Bangkok. The test for March is this Saturday!!!

They run their tests from The Connecion which is right at Lat Phrao MRT Station.

If you'd like to get your Mrs in for tomorrow's test, then call James Beere on 0844348080

I've printed off the link of the different places to do the A1 test ( http://www.vfs-uk-th..._A1_Testing.pdf ), ( listening & speaking ), are all these places ok ??? as in the test are ok for the spouse visa to the uk??? if anybody can help with more details, please do, finding this hard to find information on. Was thinking about Visa2go but looks like thats a no go now.

Alan, The Connecion is just the Location where Language Solutions carry out their English Elementry Test once a month. Basically, they just rent the rooms there to do the tests in.

I just put the facebook link in there so one could see the premises (to make it easier for someone to recognise the building when going along for the test).

However, in answer to your question, Yes, I believe there is a Connecion website link on the forementioned Facebook page.
