Short Time Storage

Recommended Posts

Yes there is. (Not sure if you searched the forum but I think there was previously a thread on this)

It is located around the middle at the rear of the departures level to the right of the oversized bag check area. Not hard to find as it is signed but it is a little bit pricey. Then again all airport baggage storage is anywhere in the world.

One thing to take note of, they will x-ray your bags before acceptance and will require that you remove and take with you any items of high value like computer, jewelry or the like.. So, if you happen to have these items, be prepared to remove them before tendering your bags... Also there are 2 locations.. one on the arrivals level and one on the departures level.. they are the same owner/operator, but bags are not commingled. So when you return to get your stuff back, you need to return to the same location..

Passengers transitting through BKK, with connecting flights less-than 24 hours later, may often be able to book their bags straight-through to final-destination overseas from CNX, so your hold-luggage sits downstairs with the airport waiting for your connecting-flight.

Of course this has security-implications for your belongings. But it does solve your need for paid-for storage at Swampy. B)

Yes, very true.. but.. you only have that right in those cases where both sectors are on ONE single ticket. If you are on TWO different tickets (defined as different ticket numbers) then you may ask or request that they interline or thru-check for you, but neither airline will be under any obligation to do so for you..

Also the first, second airline and subsequent (if not the same) airlines must have an interline agreement in place to permit this.
