Cruising In Hotel Gyms And Saunas

Travelling to Bangkok in June/ July 2011. Thinking of staying at Pathumwan Princess or Centara Grand at Centralworld Hotel. Are the gyms or steam rooms in these hotels cruisy? Anyone stayed in non gay hotels where they have had some fun in the gym sauna/ steam room

Patumwan Princess Hotel Gym is called the "Olympic Club". Most of the members are Thai business people and Chulalongkorn University students Membership fees are 24,000 per year. I've been a member here now for 3 years and haven't seen anything other than some "sly" looks in both the locker room and the saunas. Members are friendly but other than hooking up outside with somebody you met at the gym I've never seen the gym itself "cruisy".

The individual shower stalls are huge and very private but there are signs up saying "one person only and if caught with more than one your membership will be taken away"

I'm sure you already know about Babylon and that has a gym and a pool.
