I heard about people driving sometimes japanese cars with german cars apparence, here in Thailand, is it true? Are these cars called replica?

You do come across the occasional BMW/MERC with a Japanese engine, these are usually bought,, and sold by the boy racers. These cars are easy to tell, just pop the hood when you look at a car.
