I Love The Varity Of Internet Music

Featured Replies

It sastifies most musical needs. But, given that connections are slow/instable here plus I am not interested to download, is there a way to increase the buffer time?

So that no interuptions?

Try Pandora or MOG (using usvideo.org as US restricted) should not be any delays or rebuffering on audio or indeed video. Content and audio quality is awesome from both those sites.

on a 1mb+ connection here in thailand.

got very excited, alas this was the first try =

Pandora restricted fromThaiand !!!

Wil try MOG later.

But pls explain, why would transmission be interruption free? More compressed? If so, quality of sound?

Right now I am using 365

d.........r.n same for MOG.

Do you go via proxy and if so doesn't this slow down the speed even more??

Read above post again: you have to go through usvideo.org or a VPN such as strongvpn.com

although usvideo.org works better.

IT should be interruption free because most internet audio is not above 384kbps.

Which is easily handled by most Broadband connections.

For example u can stream 1080p HD video on a 4MB connection. So audio is no problem :)

usvideo.org certainly perfect however a bit expensive for music only, not listening all day.

No solution how to get simply a bigger buffer before the music is played??

http://spider-player.com webradio receiver/ music player now comes with a free upgrade to PRO which means unlimited downloading and today's http://giveawayoftheday.com may have something interesting for the OP too.

Thanks for the tip but being a lazy bum I really don't want to download, building again a library, cataloguing and in the end be stuck with the same titles. I rather roam freely.

Perhaps someone can explian how a buffer works, where it sits, in my laptop or Mac. Will they be different??
