Hell everyone,

i posted that in the Koh Chang forum ,but no answers so far,so i thought i try it here!

Hi to all,

i meet a few friends in bangkok in a few weeks(i live in chiang mai) and was thinking to escape the songkran madness and stay a few days on koh chang(cause never been there) prior my friends arrival.

Are there cheap guesthouses in 200-300 baht price range near or at the beach available?

I am happy with a real basic bungalow!

I stayed down near lonely beach about 8 years ago and got a hut for 100B. It was some big holiday and everything was booked. So we took it for one night. Lots of backpacker type huts down in that area.
