Eco Fashion Designers In Thailand?

I have a British friend who's a journalist. She's working on an article about eco/fair-trade designers around the world and she asked me if I know of anybody here in Thailand. She's looking for somebody who's up-and-coming, not a big name. Could be great publicity for the designer, especially if he/she has a website. Problem is, I have no idea how to go about finding somebody who fits the bill. I thought about contacting local fashion colleges, but that wouldn't really give me the name of any designers already working (just recent graduates). So... any ideas? Do you know anybody who's good and could use the publicity? Or any ideas of how to go about locating somebody?
