been coming and going for 25 years only on tourit visa. soon to move here for good. married leagaly to a thai with kids(our kids)will be building aresort to support long stay.after built and living in thailand will have always 2-3 mill baht in bank. what visa would suite my situation.should i set up company etc.do not want to make border runs if possible.the land on which the resort will be built is in her name she can lease it to me if this will help with company work permit etc. any help thanks

You need a Non Immigrant O Visa to get you started.

This can then be extended in Thailand for 12 months. You have to extend every year and report your address to Immigration every 90 days.

(6) In case of marriage with a Thai lady, the husband who is an alien must have an average annual income of not less than 40,000 baht per month or a money deposit in a local Thai bank of not less than 400,000 baht for the past 2 months for expenses within a year.
