Valentine Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 Although I, & no doubt most of you, have been receiving for a long time the usual "Nigerian" scam emails I have never received any through SMS until today I was informed my mobile number had won GBP1,450,000. The heading was "Congratulation" & the email to contact was .cn which I think is China. My number is with AIS & I shall inform them but how did the scammer get hold of my number & I assume plenty of others? This has been discussed before but I wonder if someone at AIS was complicit in supplying the numbers. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
chainarong Posted April 13, 2011 Share Posted April 13, 2011 I brought a SIM card in HK and wiithin 24hrs had a scam from China, only the one , they are out there these parasites, not much AIS can do, even had 1 or 2 in Australia on telstra network , just delete I guess. Awww Shi* does this mean I did not really win that $12,000,000 and I was So looking forward to that cash arriving in my bank account... have to cancel my trip to the Sirocco now...!
