A previous thread about the opening of a new Hon Thai Consulate in Langkawi, seems to have got lost......or at least I cannot find it! Could anyone please let me know if there is a potential to get a 60 day Tourist Visa there? One member was to take the trip & evaluate the possibilities & that was the end of what I know myself. An updating greatly appreciated!

I don't recall anything definitive having been posted about Langkawi since the initial announcement of a Thai consulate opening there. If the office is actually open, I cannot imagine that it's any too busy. :o

Here's the original thread... and apparently the guy who went down ...uhmm... never made it back... :o:D
