I'm looking for nice(er) hammock. :D

I've looked around local markets as well as baantawail handicraft village but couldn't find one.( I mean nice looking ones) :o

any idea? :D:D:D

no, the only ones I have seen are the standard chinese nylon ones

my hubbie got a beautiful one from Brasil though!! :D

What about those Mexican style handmade hammocks from Pai. Never actually seen one in real life, but the pictures look nice. Perhaps someone else knows something more about them???

So, apparentely there isn't any place to get decent hammock things then. :D

What if I get things through ebay? :D

They do nice stuffes at rather cheap price.

Colourful Mexican hammocks are avilable in Pai, handmade on site, various sizes, not cheap tho'.

You'll find the shop on the oposite side of the main street to the Krung Thai Bank, the same shop is also home to a motocross outfit.

I guess i should just put off my plan rather than going all the way up to Pai. :o

These hammocks are now also available in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai

Search for "Thai Tribal Crafts Fair Trade shop" and you shall find.
