Extension & 90-Day Due At Same Time

Featured Replies

I am going in for my 90-day on Thurs which is only 20 days before my retirement extension expires.

Can I do the extension 20 days early and, if so, do I still submit paperwork for the 90-day?

I am sure this has been posted a thousand times but I didn't know how to search for the question.

Thanks, Dustoff

Yes

Yes to both questions.

my marriage visa was due to be collected 9feb,90ex.was due 7march asked officer on the 9th can i do my 90day report answer no can do..

Providing they haven't changed their procedures again since last June, Bangkok will automatically restart the 90 reporting with your Visa extension application.

You must file a TM.47 address report for all but the first extension of stay. Only the first application for extension of stay serves as a 90 day address report.

The question was if he could do extension of stay 20 days early to make it the same day he does his 90 days report. The answer is yes he can (normally up to 30 days early) and yes he will have to file a TM.47 report (as well as the TM.7 extension of stay).

I went last July for visa extention, 90day was two weeks later. They didn't restart the 90dys. I noticed to late. Cost me 2000bt?

The first, and only the first, extension of stay counts as a 90 day address report. Bangkok does not reset to one if already have extension of stay and making reports.
