Hi,I've been using 3BB's 6MB down /512k up for 10 months and never had any problems. Can download at around 600KB/s and upload at around 50KB/s. Never had any problems accessing websites but I don't use a proxy because I am on a private tracker torrent site and that would get me banned from downloading their lovely British shows. Anyways, as of last week I can't connect to any WoW (World of Warcraft) servers from my laptop using the 3BB issued modem. Last week I was elsewhere and used someone else's internet connection and accessed the servers fine (so the problem isn't my laptop or the WoW servers). Back in BKK now, can't get onto the WoW servers using either the crappy 3BB modem, or an old D-link modem/router. So the problem must be with 3BB. Anyone else having problems with 3BB? Anyone else using a different ISP for WoW?

Have you tried using overseas DNS servers? Try placing Google's or OpenDNS's servers as your primary DNS server.

(Google is 8.8.8.4 or 8.8.8.8, and OenDNS is 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220)

Usually when suddenly I can't open web sites, but verify that my connection is up, I put a US DNS server as the primary DNS server, and it works fine. After a while, I switch it back to my Thai ISP's DNS server, and it's okay.

The reason I don't just keep a US DNS server as my primary: Many sites like Microsoft and Google have mirror sites in Thailand. If I'm using a Thai DNS server and type in microsoft.com it will resolve to (use) the Thai mirror site and therefore be quicker as it is a local domestic site. If I'm still using a USA DNS server and type in microsoft.com it will resolve to the USA site and throughput will suffer.

I'm using True and have had a problem since last weekend. In the mornings it's fine but around lunch-time there's a sharp increase in latency until right now at 6pm I'm at 4000ms. This is similar to a problem True users had about 6 weeks ago that was never resolved.

Using smoothping helps, but it's not free.

I am using 3BB primer just 3 MiB/1 MiB, 3BB speed better than normal, as i test at Pingtest.net got 295 ms and Jitter = 40 ms

I cannot join any room in XBOX Live Multilayer online game (Assassin Creed:Brotherhood) just sometime when i got luck i can access it.

the ping response to high for online game in Thailand, just cannot do anything much when mass people in Thailand think Internet = http = website.

PS. skype with my friend in Philadelphia(USA) connection icon always show as poor or bad (Red icon). cannot find any better it yet.
