OliG
I posted here about 5 months ago asking the question of obtaining a o visa based on my english wife working here. I was adviced to get a tourist visa which I did. I've now been here in Thailand for nearly a year, staying on a tourist visa. I'm concerned that as it's nearly a year that I will have trouble continuing to stay on with a tourist visa. I would realy like to try and get a o 'visa for a year. My first problem is that I do not have my marriage certificate with me and my wife has kept her maiden name. What are my options here, I just don't want to be in a situation where I can't get back to my wife. I am willing to use an organisation that could help me sort this out. Anyone with advice or are in the same situation would be a great help. Nationality= British Age=30 Many thanks in advance. OliG

Post or pay a visit to the Thai CONSULATE in Hull apply for a non 'o' provide a certificate of gurantee anyone can do this. Look at their website for more info. You WILL not have a problem getting a multiple entry O for a year. Put reason for visit as FAMILY which it is.
