Nigerian Drug Dealer Falls to His Death While Fleeing from Police

A Nigerian drug dealer plunged five stories to his death while running from police during a sting operation in Klongton area.

Police from the Patrol and Special Operations Division have arrested eight drug suspects of Nigerian, Ghanaian, and Zambian nationalities in a sting operation in the Klongton area.

Police acted on a tip-off about a drug delivery in the area and set up a trap by agreeing to buy three packs of methamphetamine from a Nigerian gang member at an apartment on Pattanakarn Soi 40.

A suspect fell five stories to his death from his balcony while trying to escape arrest.

Officers expanded the investigation and arrested other gang members.

Interesting.

Didn't choose to run out of the building then, along the street, down a soi, over a fence, through a door way, on a bus, by a taxi or legging it on foot.

Cornered in a building he opted to run up the stairs to the roof. Five stroies, not too high, probably over looked, might be seen, and so he goes to the fifth floor, where because of the vast amount of drugs involved [ what was it - a whole 3 packets?] he screams at them: ' Excuse me gentlemen but you'll never take me alive. I'll never see the inside of as police station while my lawyer pays to have me bailed within the hour and returned to the streets in time for lunch, a massage and the delivery of the next 3 packets!'

With charging Police at his heels, he has the time to open the window, balance himself on the sill prior to letting go and plunging to his death.

Sounds about right.

Sounds like the last one who did just the same, in the same Police area, with the same amount of drugs involved.

In fact, it sounds just like the next one that we're waiting upon.

And yet they say the arrest rate is climbing. Seems it's falling.

Just like anyone unfortunate enough to be of interest to Bangkok's Finest.

Or is this what they meant by crime falling?

and the police were able to go and arrest the other gang members.

I guess the failed superman spilled the beans while being hung over the roof by his ankles before kicking his way free and taking suicide as the better option than prison :whistling:

anyway whatever happened, good riddance to bad rubbish.

Saves taking him to court and lots of luvly paper work. Is Thaksin back already??

Likely, also saves some important handlers upstream. ;)

And he succeeded!

A successful death plus some readers know now where to get some speed. But let's be honest...he did escape his arrest.:jap:

That takes time, it is quicker to simply jump 5 floors.

Are drugs really worth dying for?

Deal goes down on 5th floor apartment, door crashes in, he makes for the balcony and slips.

Or a message was being sent and he didn't go voluntarily....

Both conjecture, but TIT and BIB.

When you see all these black African guys sitting on the steps of buildings on Sukumvit, what do you think they are doing? Offering tour services?

Thai immigration needs to stop these people and ask what they hell they are doing in Thailand. Should revoke the 30 day immediate visa for certain countries.

Malaysia has been doing this for years. Talking to a uniform, they have an unwritten directive - in the case of 'no doubt', let's not waste the Courts time or the taxpayers money. I agree with that but here it leaves itself wide open to remove 'competition'. LOL.

He wasn't paying attention during the red shirt riots last year, when trying to escape by balcony when the police bust in to your room it's best to use a rope instead of just trying to drop on to the balcony below

Probably trying to drop down to the balcony below but missed

I agree fully with you. Most of the African man roaming the Sukhumvit and surrounding streets do not deserve a Tourist Visa but have to look anapply for a business or business-scam visa instead. Because that is what they are really doing. Working, without permit.

That is the same with the black women wandering the same streets, but they do not disturb me, as I use theire service sometimes. ;-)

(A friend of mine got in an argument with an Aethiopian lady in his room, about the servicecharge, the police was called

-at least one policeman always in or around this hotel, paid by owner-

and the black working of the prostitute with a Tourist visa was no problem at all for the policeman.

The money argument was sorted out and, thats it.)

Needless to say, there are also some white Ex-Sovietunion chicks running around with Tourist visa which should be revoked for the same reasons.

Just like there are no Europeans / Americans working without a permit. Some people make me laugh.. crack down on the African's but not on the whites. But i must agree that if they sell drugs its worse then some teacher working without a permit (what i actually dont see as a problem).

The general quality of those lessons is enough to drive someone to drugs though. :whistling:

I got approached by one of these Africans in the Bumrungrad hospital medicine pickup area back in 06 and i was asked if i wanted cocaine or ecstacy.

Not a care in the world and even told me the cafe on soi 3 to score if i needed something.

I avoid that area (Soi's 1 to 8) like Harlem.

-robblock- before you lough to much.

First, I reached out at the black -Africa- and the white Caucasian -Ex-UDSSR- not only the black, even, I like theire work, as I wrote.

Second, when its so obvious, that the ladys selling theire bodys, so work and get not cought, even when they admit that in a hotel lobby in an argument with a customer than, the only reason can be,

That there is no working at all involved, as there is no Prostitution in Thailand allowed, so there is none.

Another place they hang out is Foodland on Soi 5. I have been offered cocaine in there by Africans on several occasions.

Lower Sukhumvit is infested by their ilk now and I too avoid it like the plague. :bah:

Don't wanna go off topic...but we all need to have a proper visa, work permit tax declaration and they're doing their dirty business in the capital where laws are obviously different. Can't hear that : " Wanna buy some Coke maaaan?" any more. :jap:

Strange that the story doesn't match anything you said other than an obscure reference to 3 bags in both .....

Steve walks warily down the street,

With the brim pulled way down low

Ain't no sound but the sound of his feet,

Machine guns ready to go

Are you ready, Are you ready for this

Are you hanging on the edge of your seat

Out of the doorway the bullets rip

To the sound of the beat

Chorus

Another one bites the dust

Another one bites the dust

And another one gone, and another one gone

Another one bites the dust

Hey, I'm gonna get you too

Another one bites the dust

Lumpini and Thong Lor Police control the Sukhumvit area, one and two of the most corrupt Police stations in Bangkok respectively.
