anyone know where to buy one in Bangkok ??

I have been made aware of some pluckers at JJ market to find and ask.....looking for other info also.

Try the music shops in (1) Discovery Center and (2) Fortune Town. They might be able to get you one if they don't have it in stock.

Probably not many banjo teachers around (but some I think). You can order instructional books, DVDs, & CDs from the USA though.

Thanks...yes Fortune has some little strange niche shops....good idea.

YouToob also has some nice instructional stuff........shall be a steep and slow learning curve.

My son wants to learn and I wanted to learn when I was young, never got around to it though, so maybe learn together.

He asked his music teacher at school if he knew how to play one.....he said 'whats a banjo'.

Found the banjo playin dude at JJ......got a place that sells them to visit next time in Bkk....my boy bought his cd for 145b.....autographed n all.
