They've done it again. Wonderful Thai information services. Last year they advertised the elephant festival in Surin and offered flights there. Of course everyone that took the offer ended up in Phuket. This year I have just recieved E-mails from USA and EUrope informing me that I have booked them wrong because Thaifocus.com says the festival is on the 15th & 16th of NOV. It is not. It is the 18th,19th & 20th of November. Last year it might have been on the 15th & 16th, but somehow I think it was in 2003 that it was those dates. I have faxed them with news of their mistake, but as I put in the fax, it will be a case of mai pen rai, we will not change it because we will be right every 7/8 years. If anyone on this Forum is connected to thaifocus, please make sure they get the message. I now know why last year lots of people turned up a couple of days early and had to go back before the show.
