Tourist Visa Triple Entry Plus Extension Help

Featured Replies

I have a triple entry tourist visa from america. Can I get a 30day extension each 2 months for a total of 9 months instead of 6 months? I guess at 6 months I would need to apply at the Thai embassy in Laos for a new Visa, would this still hold true with the extensions? I would go to Phistanulok for extensions...anything there I need to be aware of? I have already had my passport stamped once on a visa run...so if it is possible, I guess it would cut me back to 8 months...is this correct?

Sorry I'm an idiot, what things do I need to be aware of? And I keep seeing this info on reporting your address every 90days...

Eventually I'll apply for a student visa, I really want to learn Thai.

Thank you in advance for any assistance/advice.

Indeed a triple entry tourist visa gives you the right to stay for 60 days which can be extended by 30 days. Than you have to leave the country and re-enter before the visa expires to get another 60 days, to be extended with 30 days. Than you leave and do it all again and after that one you leave and apply for a new visa.

Take good note of the visa expiry date: You have to make each entry into the country before that date. Any entry not made before that date can no longer be used.

Yes you cam get 30 days extension on every entry.

Be sure to use your entries before the visa expires.

No need to do 90 day reporting because you must leave the country for a new entry every 90 days.
