Booking Flights From Thailand To Uk

Hello forum.

My Long term G.F has just been issued her 3rd tourist visa and im looking at her flying to see me in England for 6 months. My question is whether it is cheaper booking a flight from england or for her to book from Thailand. i seem to find it always works out more expensive for return flights from Thailand then return flights from england .(not sure why this seems to be the case).

can any forum members recommend a company either in Thailand or england that can offer good value return flight tickets from Thailand to England (Birmingham preferred) for a 6 month ticket. direct flights doesn't matter too much. do any forum members have any ideas about the cost im looking at paying? id really like to know how cheap or expensive people are paying for tickets these days.

check out wefly, ebookers, and netflights, often have offers on ive found them useful in the past, also airberlin is worth a look?

i always go direct to airline on the internet now,had a scare few years ago with travel agents,im using eithad at the moment no real cheap air fares now,i only do one way flights,suits us just paid 740 for 2 bkk/man,return looks like about 200 quid dearer now,win some lose some.

i find skyscanner seems to be cheapest search engine though not much cheap these days, good to change days back and forwards a bit to see if they are more pricy or cheaper at weekends etc

thanks for the useful links. as my gf has a 6 month tourist visa, is it possible for her to book a one way ticket to england? will this cause problems at immigration?

Immigration may ask her to produce either a return/onward ticket or evidence that she has the finances available to purchase one.

If she is asked and can produce neither one nor the other, then she would probably be refused entry.
