Phuyai Posted May 10, 2011 Share Posted May 10, 2011 Remember to then take your new and old passports to your local Thai Imigration Dept office to have your visa and departure card transferred across I believe if you present both old and new passport at airport/border immigration, it is not necessary to transfer either any current visa or arrival stamp/departure card. The old passport will be cancelled by cutting off part of the cover but visas attached to the old passport remain valid until the expiry date stated on the visa.
