A work colleague (US pport) did a Cambodian border visa run and got the regular 15 days stamp with the TM card stamped "Admitted Until 6-May". He then got a job and an extension of stay at Cheang Wattana to 3-July organized by manpower agency. The TM card wasn't changed and date thus doesn't match the extension of stay stamp. Is this normal?

TM cards and original visa stamps are never changed. The current extension of stay stamp prevails at immigration.
