Maximum Number Of Days

Featured Replies

Could somebody tell me please the maximum number of days or the limit on number of visits in any given period - say one year - travelling only on 30 day Tourist Visas. Clearly I'm going back and forth to visit a girlfriend and have been 10 times in 9 months - only for 2/3 weeks at a time and am getting a little worried that I might hit some obstacle next time.

there are no obstacles any more, come and go as you please, the problems arise if you were doing visa runs and the Consulate notices that you have been there too often, in this case you just go to another Consulate

Believe you are from the UK and entering the Kingdom on 30 day visa exempt entry (not a visa). There is no restriction on the number of the number of times you can enter the Kingdom within a given timescale. 90 day in 180 day rule, if that is what you are referring to, was scrapped a long time back.

"...travelling only on 30 day Tourist Visas."

Because of your nick I suspect you don't have a visa when you visit, and are entering on visa exempt entries.

They did away with limits several years ago.

I thought 30 days was only if by air.

That depends on your nationality. But normally if you qualify for a visa exempt entry it is indeed 30 days by air and 15 days by land.

With some countries Thailand has an agreement. Such as with Russia. That is why Russians fro example always get 30 days, even if it is a land entry.

Thank you for you reply. As I remember, the countries that get the 30 day land do not include any countries that use English as a first language. Unless the OP was written by a friend then he/she has very good command of the English language. If however, these re-entries are being done by air then I hope the OP is getting the airmiles!
