3BB increased their speed by 1Mb and started a new marketing campaign about this time last year. Anyone have the inside scoop if there's any changes coming soon?

I thought they used to have a 2Mb upload option with Indy Plus but it appears Indy no longer exists. Does anyone know if you can purchase additional speed that isn't one of the prices they show online? I would gladly pay more or sacrifice download speed for 2Mb up. Don't want to fork out the money for the 20/4 price though.

3BB's specialization is marketing and advertisement, unfortunately internet and customer care are not their strongest points 6d647fd45fd67cd6bb0f9dcf509a8e92.gif

brilliantly said you're not wrong thats for sure.

they also specialize in throttling as well.

So what's the alternative if True has no "free line"?

I wonder how many really can get the speeds iof their campaigns. My line is constantly degrading.

It's completely hit and miss which ISP is good in Thailand. What is good one place, for one person, one day, is terrible for another person, another place, another day. You'll simply have to try different ISP's out of what's available in your area, until you - with a little luck - find one that works for you.

FWIW I've used 3BB for years and generally been a happy camper. They've had a few hiccups along the road but nothing I can't live with.

I used 3BB Premier until a month or two ago, when I realized I could get 3x the bandwidth for 2/3 of the price I was paying by changing to 3BB "not premier", (Used to be called Indy, but apparently not anymore). I don't always get the indicated speed now, but I always get more than I got with the Premier account.

I'm still on the old Premier 3MB package for 1250 Baht and normally very happy with it. ( prepaid for one year )

The new premier is now 2500 Baht ( 5 MB ) but normally 3 mb is enough for me.

I only read that they are increasing the speed for existing costumers but my speed remains always the same. :(

Is this because I’m on the old 1250 Baht package ?

Maybe time to have a talk with the 3BB girl. :whistling:

I have a 6Mb/1Mb connection and routinely max it out. I haven't seen evidence of 3BB throttling and the customer service has been fair in Chiang Mai and Ubon. But that's not my topic anyway, I'm about to renew a year for the discount and was just curious if anyone had heard anything about new deals.
