Bored At Home - Need Advice

Hello! I am new on these forums.

I have been living in Bangkok for a couple of months now, and I will probably remain here for a very long time. It is a great city with lots of fun things to do, but when I am at home in my apartment, I get bored very quickly.

So I am thinking about buying a hacked / chipped PS3 to ease my bordeom. But first I have some questions to all you gamers out there.

1. Where in Bangkok can i buy a hacked PS3? I looked in MBK but could only find Xbox 360.

2. Where in Bangkok can i buy "cheap games" for my hacked PS3?

3. Is it true that Sony can "detect" hacked PS3-units through the Internet, and disable them from working?

I guess I could get a hacked Xbox-360 instead, but I really want the bluray player that comes with the PS3.
