I noticed this morning driving up Thonglor that the election signs are starting to go up, it will be a matter of days before the view is completely obscured when you are pulling out of a side street with the multitude of signs that are haphazardly put up around the city, be careful out there when you are driving, you can't see cars coming and they can't see you (not that it bothers most people pulling onto the main road from a side street, they normally don't look anyway )

Anyway, is there not some regulation that states these signs should be a certain distance from a junction??

IIRC there is a maximum amount of signs or area of signage allowed by the election commision per candidate, so if you are worried about a particular party exceeding their quota (they probably all do ), pull out a tape measure and start meausuring.

And what about when the signs take up the whole of the pavement and you have to walk onto the road?

Thankfully, not too much of that where I am at the moment :)

Be careful.
