I have recently been given a work permit for a BKK company by BOI (one-stop service).The Non B visa was issued in Vientiane according to documentation given by said company.

However, I was later offered a new, higher-paid job and will soon need to change my work permit. The new company is not listed with BOI.

Will I therefore need to acquire another Non B and leave the country again to do so?

The current visa is still good for another 8 months or so and I would hate to waste time and money by traveling to a consulate abroad unless I really have to...

A visa only allows a 90 day stay so need to know what you have - is it a one year extension of stay from Immigration/BOI or a multi entry non immigrant B visa and you leave country every 90 days?

If extension of stay it ends with the end of employment - but believe BOI still allows 7 days so you might be able to get new paperwork processed during that time and not require a new entry.

If 90 day visa entry that would not change and could be used with new company.

It's the former, extension of stay to one year. So apparently I will need to obtain a new Non B abroad following the 7-day period?! Thanks for the info.
