Non Imm O Dependent Visa (Farang Spouse With Work Permit) From Kl

Featured Replies

According to this link http://www.mfa.go.th...87.php?&id=2882 a Farang spouse can get a non imm O visa with company documents and copy of work permit.

Does anyone have any experience of getting a multi-entry from KL? It says you need "Spouse with valid work permit more than 7 months" for multi-entry. Would that mean they've had the work permit more than 7 months or it has more than 7 months validity left?

Thanks for any info

KL like 7 months validity left on WP for a year visa.

It says KL will isue a multiple non-O for a dependent if the validity of the work permit of the person (s)he is dependent on is more than 7 months. If not, only a single will be issued.

If on an extension of stay from immirgation, the dependent can also get a 1 year extension of stay from immigration.

Thanks. At the date the visa is needed there would only be 2 months left on the WP, so could get a single for that (or a tourist visa if not?) and then when the WP is renewed go for a multi-entry?

WP validity is no longer attached to your visa/extension of stay.

You can go and renew for one more year when you have two months left on your WP.

Get a new multiple entry for you at the same time so you and your spouse are in phase.

Your old one will be cancelled.
