Neighbours

Featured Replies

We have a town house with a front and rear entrance and my maids grow herbs ,basil ,mint and other small things at the rear between the public walkway and the rear wall some behind her wall and the woman next door has just gone off her head actually screaming at the top of her voice claiming we are using her land and we must remove all plants immediatly or she will call the police.

My wife has just confronted her and asked her what the hell is she going on about and that its not her land on the other side of her fence and told her that she dosn't like being threatened .

Now this family is weird (middle class chinese thai ) in the 12 years living next to them they never have had visitors ,they never go on holidays and the husband or the children has never spoken to us ..The family on the other side is the same which keep retrievers and they are hardly at home and the dogs are not cared for or exercised.

It's strange living with these people I'm sure all neighbours are not the same .

Maybe the reason none of the neighbours talk to you is because they think your weird... ...just a thought

is there name Adams, maybe the A :whistling: dams family.

Neighbours - Strange.

A thread title like Zen. Nothing more needs to be added, said or explained.

You can't always pick your neighbours, but you can choose where to live.

Ask the neighbour to show you her chanote which includes the bit of land she claims is hers.

Actually it's possible that the land is hers since (as I understand it) any perimeter wall must be wholly on your property.

To be honest if my neighbours were placing plants outside my wall I too would be unhappy, but I would not fly off the handle and would simply request their removal.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

Yes !! quote ( public walkway and the rear wall some behind her wall ) unquote, this needs to be made clearer.

And if the request didnt work...nothing a little weed killer wouldn't solve...

In the OP's post seems to be the typical over reaction to the simplist issues/problems.....ie threatening to call the police and then the "agrieved" party saying they are being threatened, perceived "face loss" or what ever...so very prevalant in Thailand.

In Europe/US there is road rage, We may have a similar thing in Thailand which could be termed "face rage".....:whistling:
