Hi guys

looking for more info on opening a bank account in thailand as i am going for 6 months and would like my pension paid in to it to get a better rate.

Any help would be great

If you can tell us where you live and what banks branches are available, there's a good chance that someone here will be able to give a definitive answer. Since different branches have different policies (even branches of the same bank in the same town!) and ask for different paperwork so it can be all very discouraging getting the runaround at each bank when all you want is an easier life. Sometimes it appears they don't want to be bothered which is usually the case when they say 'Cannot'. In that instance don't argue with them, keep your money and just check another bank/branch.
