I have been here 13 years and many years back had a TV package in Bangkok that showed me Granada +, BBC entertainment and many more where i could watch Blackadder, old Minder and Bills episodes and so on. I can not for the life of me remember how i got this........do i need satellite or is there a True Cable package for this? Cheers me

I doubt you have the internet download speed necessary to use these streaming-type services that many high-end TVs have these days...in addition, many of these US/Euro based streaming services, e.g., Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV, are blocked in Thailand.

Just checked and they had the complete Minder series etc. Not sure if membership is closed at the moment but if you ask around someone might have a few invites. Then just plug into AV channel on TV Failing that go to Khlong Tom Market in china town and buy a chipped cable box - you know, the one in every Thais home for about 1800bt. plug and play the UBC platinum package for free after that (So I've heard anyway ) Edited June 27, 201115 yr by ChristopherWilliamsBKK
