This should be a matter of some concern to Thailand. If the Chinese build a railway through the length of Thailand does anybody think that they will leave the operation of it to a bunch who couldn't organise a pi55up in a brewery? If you are going to sup with the Devil, make sure that you use a long spoon.

Its been going on for years all over the south Asian continent. Now Africa land purchases in Africa are up 1750% in 3 years land purchases in Laos are at an all-time high of 1560% in 5 years Notting new life goes on there will be peasants uprooted left landless but who cares this is progress that is what they tell us, If you have a voice use it, if you are an NGO please use It, otherwise shout <snip> up.

I think that the Thais would organise a very-good "pi55up in a brewery", it would be never-ending, it's the management/operation of the brewery which I'd consider using outside-management to run ! :partytime2::burp::drunk:

Just take a look at the amount of farmland that's been bought by the Chinese in Australia & New Zealand....

Gambling and prostitution in Thailand?

It'll never happen!

/sarcasm font off.

Farmland? What do you mean by farmland?

There's a casino in Cambodia just walking distance from Thai border and it's not entirely owned by cambodians ok. Where there's money to be made, every nationalities will jump in when they have the capital, not only the chinese. Only difference is that the chinese have a unique sense of laundering their ill gotten gains.
