Need To Do Border Run From Pathum Thani

Featured Replies

1 year multi entry Non-Imm O

Canadian passport.

I was thinking of flying to Singapore and coming back the same day... or another country via cheap flights on air aisa. Would I need to get a Visa for Singapore before going?

What country would you recommend?

Or would you suggest I join a van ride border run tour thing?

Need to buy tix soon... to July 16 is my stamp.

Up to you as they say. No visa required for Malaysia or Singapore if you want to fly. Border visa available in Laos/Cambodia if you want to do are border crossing. Burma crossing just involves small fee.

hmm ok thanks :) Flights to Singapore on air asia seem to be 1600baht each way so that's attractive.

You can return immediately but an overnight in Singapore might be worthwhile.

Yes, what you are saying is certainly possible.

There is a cheaper alternative if you are here in the Bangkok area.

I have a non O multi entry visa and I have made two "border runs" to Cambodia.

It is a 10 hour (roughly) one day trip to Cambodia, and the cost is 2000 Baht all included. Have some pocket money as they will make two "toliet stops" each way and they will give you time to purchase a soda or a snack during at least one of the stops (Clean fast-food shops in Thailand, not Cambodia)

Here is a link to the company I used:

http://thaivisaservice.com/

Give them a look if you're interested. The couple who run them are an Italian and his Thai wife. The drivers for the mini-van are Thai. Good experienced drivers too.

By the way, just to make it clear, they are not connected to this Thai Visa forum.

I've used then twice so far, and I'm due for another border run in early August. I intend to use the same company again as both times I've been very happy with their service.

:)
